I’ve had a weird/hard week and stumbled on ReBoot of all things on YouTube, both in godawful VHS rips with original ad spots and the shockingly pristine restoration they’ve been doing. Nostalgia is a weird, wild thing

I grew up in Albuquerque and there's a great TikTok account that's going around, buying old VHS tapes from thrift stores, and digitizing the commercials from the early 90's potent jolts of nostalgia from this found media, but it's also wild to see a universe of information invisible to the web
